The Best Beyblade X Combos for Beginners (2026)

You don't need thirty blades to compete — you need three good combos and the discipline to launch them well. These builds are affordable, forgiving, and every one of them holds its own in our physics simulator against the meta.

1. The Fair-and-Square Attacker — Dran Sword 3-60 F

The combo that started Beyblade X, and still the best teacher. Dran Sword's three upward-slanting contact points reward a good sliding shot without the self-KO risk of the heavier meta attackers. The 3-60 ratchet keeps you low and stable, and the Flat bit gives honest, controllable movement.

2. The Patient Wall — Wizard Rod 5-70 DB

Wizard Rod dominated an entire year of Beyblade X for a reason: it's the widest blade in the BX line, and all that rim weight means it simply out-spins almost anything a beginner will face. The Disc Ball bit adds even more spin retention.

3. The Unmovable Object — Knight Shield 3-80 N

Defense is the least flashy and most underrated way to win at this game. Knight Shield's smooth tri-wing rim sheds hits, the tall 80 ratchet lets it deflect attackers hitting upward, and the Needle bit plants it like a tree.

The one-purchase answer

If you can only buy one product, get a dual-pack or battle set that includes a stadium — the Xtreme Stadium changes the game completely (see our stadium guide). A great combo without a proper stadium is a fish without water.

What NOT to buy first

Check before you buy: build any combo in our Combo Builder first — it grades the build, names its archetype, and shows exactly which meta combos beat it. Two minutes of simulation saves a bad purchase.
