Byyblade X HQ is a static, client-side web app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. No accounts. No cookies. No analytics. No tracking. Everything you do in the app stays in your browser.
Byyblade X HQ ("the Site", "we", "our") is an independent, fan-built tool for analyzing Beyblade X combos. The Site is hosted at byybladebuilder.com and is operated by an individual hobbyist developer, not by Takara Tomy, Hasbro, or any officially licensed Beyblade brand.
None. The Site is a single static HTML file delivered to your browser. All data — the parts database, the physics engine, your selected combos, and your simulation results — runs entirely in your browser's memory. Nothing is sent back to us.

The Site does not set first-party cookies and is not used to track you across visits.
The Site uses up to three entries in your browser's localStorage:
byyblade.saved.v1 — combos you have explicitly chosen to save with the "💾 Save" button. Stores only part names and the labels you give them.byyblade.notOwned.v1 — your inventory marks. When you click the "N/A" toggle on a part in the Database, that part's name is added to a list so the Suggestions and Tier List features know to skip it.byyblade.theme.v1 — your light/dark theme preference (a single string: "light" or "dark").All entries live entirely in your browser and are never transmitted off-device. To clear them, either reset them through the in-app controls (the "×" button per saved combo, or the "↺ Reset" button in the inventory bar) or clear site data for byybladebuilder.com in your browser settings.
We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Facebook Pixel, or any other analytics or behavioral-tracking service. The Site loads no third-party scripts that could fingerprint or profile you.
The Site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify, like any web host, automatically receives standard HTTP request information (your IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, timestamp) for the purposes of delivering content, preventing abuse, and complying with the law. We do not have access to or query these logs for marketing, profiling, or analytics. Netlify's own privacy practices are described at netlify.com/privacy.
The Site can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on Android, iOS, and desktop. When you do this, your browser registers a service worker that caches the app's HTML, icons, and static assets locally so the app continues to work offline (essential for tournament use where venue Wi-Fi is unreliable).
The service worker stores cached files in a browser-managed cache named byyblade-v1 (the version number bumps when we ship updates). It only caches files served from byybladebuilder.com. It does not intercept, log, or transmit any of your activity.
The PWA does not request any device permissions. We do not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, calendar, notifications, or any other device data.
To uninstall: long-press the home-screen icon → Uninstall (Android), or Settings → Storage → Site data → byybladebuilder.com → Clear (iOS / desktop). This removes the cache and the icon.
If we publish a Play Store version, it will be a Trusted Web Activity (TWA) — a thin Android wrapper around the same web app. No additional data is collected by the wrapper.

Product photographs displayed in the Site are sourced from publicly available references (including the community-maintained Beyblade Wiki at beyblade.fandom.com) and are used under fair-use principles strictly for the purposes of identification, education, and community discussion. If you are a rights holder and would like a specific image removed, please contact us using the address below and we will comply promptly.
The Site is generally suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect nothing, the Site is compliant by design with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar regulations.
Because we do not collect or process personal data, traditional GDPR/CCPA rights (access, deletion, portability, opt-out of sale) are satisfied by default — there is no data to access, delete, port, or sell. If you have any questions about this, you can still reach us using the contact information below.
If this policy is ever updated — for example, if we add an opt-in feature like saved combos or a community leaderboard — the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change and a brief note describing the change will be added. We will never reduce your privacy without prominent notice.
